Jordan Maykis, Compliance and Research Representative, is the 4th Quarter 2014 Service Champion recipient.
The Service Champion award is the Credit Union internal recognition program for service excellence. Each quarter one employee is selected who personifies the HUECU commitment to personal service.
Jordan began his career at HUECU in October of 2005 while attending UMass Boston where he majored in History and minored in communications. In 2005 HUECU was seeking technological advancements to improve processes such as document scanning. Jordan’s first assignment was to ready the ninth floor loan file room for this new type of data storage. Jordan quickly became a valuable resource at HUECU where he assisted many departments at the Credit Union from the Teller Line to Retail Operations where he soon became a permanent member of the Ops team in 2008. In 2009 Jordan was promoted to Compliance and Research Representative where he quickly became an expert on AML, SAR, and BSA rules, regulations, and compliance.
In the fourth quarter, Jordan was recognized by his coworkers for his collaborative nature and his collaboration efforts and ability to obliterate to-do lists with speed and accuracy.
