At HUECU, we’re committed to helping students reach their financial and academic goals. That’s why we award five $1,000 scholarships to students starting their first year of college. High school seniors enrolling in an undergraduate college degree program during the 2019-2020 academic year were eligible to apply.
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous HUECU member, we are proud to extend our scholarships from 5 to 10 awardees. This donation adds an additional tier of 5 winners that will each receive $500 towards their higher education goals!
In the program’s third year, the all-volunteer Scholarship Review Committee reviewed a record number of applications from students across the country. Like our applicants, the committee volunteers represent a diverse group of individuals from our own HUECU community. We would like to thank all of our Scholarship Review Committee members for their time and advocacy on the behalf of these talented students.
