Harvard FCU is committed to making a positive impact on our members’ lives and building a more prosperous world for the communities we serve. In celebration of Earth Day, here’s a quick look at how Harvard FCU supports sustainability in your finances!
Green Auto Loan Discount
Members who take out a vehicle loan with Harvard FCU can count on exceptional value and straightforward terms, whether you’re purchasing a vehicle, refinancing a high-interest loan, or looking for a lease buyout. But, did you know Harvard FCU also offers a 0.25% rate discount for purchasing a hybrid or electric vehicle?
Our green auto loan discount is a small way of applauding our members’ efforts to reduce their transportation carbon footprint. Besides the 0.25% discount from Harvard FCU, choosing a hybrid or electric car can also save money on gasoline, help to reduce the greenhouse gases which contribute to climate change, and potentially make you eligible for a tax credit. So—go green to save some green!
No More Paper Statements
If you’re ready to reduce your paper waste, switch to eStatements with Harvard FCU. eStatements are the more convenient, more eco-friendly way to receive your monthly statement. Plus, switching to eStatements means you’ll get your monthly statements faster than with traditional mail, and have on-demand access to view and download past statements.
Head to harvardfcu.org/digital-banking/estatements for more information on setting up eStatements. The process is quick and easy, and you can do away with paper statements for both member banking and credit cards.
Recyclable Credit Cards
There’s lots to love about Harvard FCU credit cards: from 0.00% Intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first 12 months; to cash back rewards on groceries, gas and more; installment payment options to split up the cost of large purchases over time. But did you know that Harvard all FCU credit cards are also made from recyclable materials? Choosing our cards means choosing a more sustainable future, and ID theft protection, zero liability and global service adds plenty of security and convenience to your transactions, too.
